REEDER Construction and Fort Worth ISD Open New District Service Center in Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
“Hats off to everyone involved,” said Cole Reeder, Vice President of REEDER Construction who spoke at the opening ceremony. “We’ve been working with Fort Worth ISD for a long time and it shows they really care about their community and investing in students’ education.”
About 300 district staff members from multiple departments completed move-in by September, along with Superintendent, Angélica Ramsey who addressed attendees at the opening ceremony for the new administration building which creates more collaborative efforts between departments to serve the community.
“It takes a team to complete a project like this one, and the Fort Worth ISD and Huckabee team are probably the best project teams I’ve worked with in commercial construction, ” said Jeff Stephens, Senior Project Manager at REEDER Construction.
The interior renovation, build back, and exterior facade renovation of the Camp Bowie facility spans 140,000 square feet on a 12-acre site. Historically, this building hosted institutions like the Applied Learning Academy and International Newcomer Academy.
