REEDER and Dallas ISD Break Ground on Biomedical Preparatory at UT Southwestern

While construction started in October 2023, our team was thrilled to join together with Dallas ISD, the community, and other members of the project team as we officially broke ground on Biomedical Preparatory at UTSW on February 22, 2023!

The STEM campus currently serves PK-3 through second grade while adding a grade level every year until it is a PK-8. The three-story addition and renovations to Biomedical Preparatory at UTSW with Architect, The Beck Group and Program Manager, Jacobs, under the district’s Bond 2020 program, incorporates a library, gymnasium, extra classrooms, kitchen, cafeteria, and a new playground.

“We want students to become critical thinkers by giving them an opportunity to discern and then make their own decisions,” Biomedical Preparatory Principal Roberto Gonzalez said in a Dallas Examiner interview. “Curiosity, creativity, resilience, empathy, innovation and leadership drive everything we do.”
