Godley Ceremonial Signing Leaves Band Student’s Legacy in Fine Arts Addition
Pride of Godley band students joined us for a ceremonial signing in the future Godley High School band hall. Also in attendance was Joe Walker, high school band director and Godley school district’s fine arts director who led the ceremony, as well as Superintendent Dr. Rich Dear, Principal Kurtis Flood, and the REEDER project team.
Phase 3 of Godley High School includes the addition of fine arts spaces for band, choir, and visual arts that will increase the overall campus capacity to approximately 1,300 students. The band suite will also serve as the campus’ tornado shelter.
The CMAR job also includes the expansion to the kitchen and to the Center for Learning and Innovation. The kitchen expansion will provide what is necessary to serve the full master-planned campus population of 2,500 students, while the CL&I expansion will provide room for growth. REEDER Construction projects are successful because of our core values… Servant Leadership, Safety, and Family. We couldn’t do it without the entire team, committed to these values, and we’d like to thank everyone on this Godley project for putting these first and supporting our purpose daily. Keep it up!
