REEDER Voted 40 Best Companies to Work For in Fort Worth For 2021

REEDER Construction was voted as one of Fort Worth Inc.’s 40 Best Companies to Work For in Fort Worth For 2021. It’s an honor to be recognized by our employees! REEDER is one of the best places to work because of our people. It would be woefully inadequate for us to simply say that we are proud and humbled by each member of our team. Each member of the REEDER team makes us better. We are truly blessed to have a construction family where everyone supports our purpose daily.

REEDER ranked third among employers in the small/medium category of up to 250 employees. Companies and other organizations that enter our contest submit answers to Best Companies on questions ranging from employee benefits, work from home and vacation policies, communication from the top, wellness initiatives, opportunities for advancement, training and mentorship, diversity, to fun stuff like office happy hours. Entering companies also agree to allow their employees to be surveyed anonymously by the Best Companies Group to drill down on how they perceive their employer. Best Companies analyzes this information and produces the annual Best Companies to Work For in Fort Worth.

REEDER Gives Back To Three Local Charities This Christmas

REEDER’s philosophy on philanthropy and personal giving has always been quite discreet. We have been truly blessed, and with those blessings come responsibilities to our neighbors who are less fortunate. This year, we decided to redirect the funds we would have spent on our Christmas party, which we canceled due to COVID precautions, and donate to three local charities.

Donations included seven bikes with helmets and gear to Casa Hope for Children, which advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the court system through trained community volunteers’ services; a number of toys to Manna House, which serves local families in need; and a monetary donation to the KLTY Christmas Wish, in which 100% of all funds raised are given back to the Dallas/Fort Worth Community.

2020 has certainly been a year to remember. Wishing you and your family good health, safety, peace, and joy in 2021! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at REEDER!

REEDER Sponsors FWHCC Annual Clay Shoot

Thank you to the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for hosting their annual clay shoot. It was a beautiful day to be outdoors and enjoy a test of shotgun skills.

REEDER is proud to have been a Bronze-level sponsor of the clay shoot which benefits the non-profit initiatives of the Chamber. We are also proud of the REEDER Raiders shooting team, taking home 2nd Place in the tournament. The Chamber introduced COVID-19 safety practices with food and beverage service, and an optional in-person or virtual awards ceremony.

The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Clay Shoot gives shooters from all industries an opportunity to network and make connections, while having fun outside of the office. As always, we thank the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber for their hospitality!

Lane Reeder Awarded 40 Under 40

CEO of REEDER Construction recognized for improving Tarrant County

FORT WORTH, Texas (APRIL 25, 2019) – Lane Reeder, Chief Executive Officer for REEDER Construction, a local general contractor with a solid reputation of integrity and performance was awarded the celebrated Fort Worth Business Press’ 40 Under 40 at Cendera Center on April 24, 2019.

Beginning as field superintendent in 2006 Lane advanced to Vice President of Operations by 2010. Beginning with a ground up knowledge of construction processes Lane has helped to transform REEDER’s company systems; everything from creating a hiring matrix, to ensure we hire the “right” individuals, to hands on training for project managers and engineers. He also has a keen understanding of contracts and finance, working strategically with executive management to hit REEDER’s targets. His leadership has been an integral part of taking REEDER from revenues of about $5 million in 2006 to over $50 million in 2018.

“40 Under 40 is celebrated to recognize brilliance on the rise up, 40 honorees each year, all under the age of 40, destined for striking accomplishments in their chosen field, from the corporate sector to maverick entrepreneurialism. They are leaders today and are sure to be part of the next generation that will make Tarrant County a great place to live and work,” according to the Fort Worth Business Press.

Through his leadership, Lane has implemented cutting-edge technology that interfaces with management procedures, job-costing, scheduling and communication systems.  All of which have led to more competitive pricing, higher-quality and shorter project duration.

Lane’s creativity has led to a myriad of structural and organizational innovations within REEDER. He has worked with corporate partners to develop software platforms to better log and manage field operations. He has created and drafted industry specific management policies, project accounting functions and project delivery marketing proposals. His problem solving skills have led to new checks and balances that contribute to the “lessons learned” aspect of industry challenges. His ability to understand and embrace key market indicators and industry challenges, and transform them into viable opportunities bring added value to REEDER’s business model.

Lane is deserving of this honor because of his exemplary work ethic. Anyone who knows him immediately understands that he leads by example. He is tireless in achieving the highest standards for REEDER and understands that teamwork is more than a concept. His hands-on approach to problem solving is just one example of his commitment to his employees and executive team.

Lane’s integrity, loyalty, commitment and accountability underscore his work ethic and ability. His tireless attitude for excellence in others is exceeded only by the demands he makes on himself. His genuine concern for the “person” as opposed to the “employee” and his ability to lead by example, is obvious to everyone that works with him.

REEDER Hosts Open House to Welcome Industry Partners

REEDER Construction proudly hosted our first Open House in our new building in the City of Westworth Village on February 21, 2019.

It was a great turn out and we met and reconnected with many of our industry partners. We had a Tex-Mex theme with margaritas provided by  Firefighter Margaritas, a nacho bar from QDOBA, and sweets from the local, Vending Nut Company, as we discussed future growth and partnership opportunities while touring our new office space. We even had our own race car make an appearance!
