Desoto Community Dives In At Moseley Pool Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

What an incredible opening as we joined the Desoto Parks and Recreation Department and the community to celebrate the completion of the Moseley Pool renovation. New amenities include a lazy river, rock climbing wall, air-conditioned party room, office areas, and more.

The ribbon cutting event was free to the public and was a treat to see the community enjoying all our hard work with a whole lot of swimming, splashing, and fun in the sun!

REEDER in the News: Fort Worth ISD pairs aspiring engineers, architects with industry professionals

FORT WORTH, Texas – Fort Worth ISD gave its students the opportunity to help them chart their paths.

The school district on Wednesday gave some aspiring engineers and architects from across the district a chance to get a jump start on their futures.

High school senior Joel Rodriguez designed and created a school-themed box for protecting his class ring.

“Right now, I’m just taking the engineering class they are providing us. Last year, I took engineering essentials,” he said.

Rodriguez is just one of many Fort Worth ISD upperclassmen getting a jump on their futures in architecture, engineering and construction.

From resumes to tips on how to prepare for interviews, several North Texas firms are providing the students with what to expect when seeking positions.

“In college, I would like to do more specific type of engineering, architectural engineering. But I am going to major in civil engineering and do a minor in architect,” said senior Kennedy Ball.

Some have a game plan while others are testing the waters.

REEDER Volunteers at Ben Hogan Classic for Soldiers

2020 Ben Hogan Classic Presented by the Air Power Foundation

It was a perfect day to celebrate our freedoms as 200 soldiers attended the annual Ben Hogan Classic at Fort Hood on June 26, 2020. With an active military population of more than 36,000, registration filled up in less than 24 hours. The REEDER team was excited to be a sponsor as well as volunteer at this Fort Hood favorite event. The enthusiasm of our team was summed up by Wes Reeder:

“The Ben Hogan Classic is one of my favorite events because it benefits soldiers. They sacrifice so much to protect our freedoms and golf is such a great way for them to enjoy a day that’s all about them.”

Soldiers not only enjoyed a round of golf but were treated to breakfast tacos, a Bloody Mary bar, pizza, lots of Ben Hogan swag, giveaways, and more. Take a look at some of the highlights from the event!

About Ben Hogan Foundation: The Ben Hogan Foundation funds charities and programs that reflect Ben Hogan’s core values: qualities like self-determination, courage, a competitive spirit, integrity and hard work. It supports his passions: golf and its influence on young people, education, and the well-being of children.
